Non-Trade Purchasing Manager

You will be responsible for the procurement of non-commodity items required for daily operations of the head office and stores across Taiwan, including general supplies, engineering equipment, and various operational services, ensuring the stability of the supply chain and supporting business operations.

What will you do:

As a Non-Trade Purchasing Manager, you will lead the bidding, price comparison, negotiation, and contract negotiation processes, while actively developing and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure that the company receives the most reasonable prices and the highest quality of goods and services. Additionally, you need to regularly analyze market trends and grasp emerging suppliers and product information to accurately respond to business needs. In terms of cross-departmental collaboration, you will work closely with multiple teams such as operations, finance, and logistics to jointly promote sustainable procurement policies and ESG/CSR project implementation.

  • Assist in bidding, price comparison, negotiation, and contract negotiation, ensuring that all procurement processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain stable and trusting supplier relationships to ensure that suppliers can provide reasonable prices and high-quality goods and services to meet the company's needs.
  • Monitor and optimize existing procurement processes.While meeting daily operational needs, effectively balance cost control, risk management, and service level improvement.
  • Regularly analyze market trends and proactively seek out potential suppliers and new products to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of procurement needs.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments such as operations, finance, logistics, etc., to coordinate non-commodity sourcing needs and jointly support the smooth operation of the business.
  • Actively participate in the company's sustainable procurement policies and the implementation of ESG or CSR-related projects, and promote the implementation of corporate social responsibility.

What you bring:

In your past work experience, if you've worked in non-commodity procurement management for large organizations or in the retail industry, you'll be able to integrate quickly into your team and make an impact.

  • Those with more than three years of experience in non-commodity (such as contracts, office appliances, etc.) procurement management are preferred, and relevant industry background is a plus.
  • Possess excellent negotiation skills, demonstrating keen insight and flexible response skills in contract negotiations and supplier management.
  • Good communication skills and cross-departmental collaboration skills enable you to effectively promote cooperation and information flow among teams.
  • Good at teamwork and able to promote continuous optimization and improvement processes through consensus building.
