Logistics AM (Warehouse)
A leading FMCG company in Taiwan is looking for a Logistics Assistant Manager (Warehouse) to oversee warehouse operations, optimise logistics processes, and ensure safety, quality, and seamless coordination.
Key responsibilities
As Logistics AM (Warehouse) you will oversee end-to-end warehousing and transportation, optimise inventory and processes, ensure safety, and coordinate with third-party logistics to drive efficiency.
- Warehousing Management: Oversee purchasing coordination, storage optimisation, picking quality, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse platform operations
- Transportation & Delivery Oversight: Monitor order distribution, plan special projects, coordinate new delivery points, and manage customer order processes
- Safety, Compliance & Third-Party Oversight: Implement safety and environmental regulations, conduct audits, and strengthen performance and quality awareness of logistics providers
- Returns & Emergency Handling: Manage return shipments, assist with physical scrapping, and respond to operational abnormalities with robust business continuity plans
- Cost & Efficiency Optimisation: Drive process improvements, support bidding and vendor initiatives, and implement logistics solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Candidate profile
The ideal Logistics AM combines hands-on warehousing experience, 3PL collaboration, analytical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, EHS compliance, and a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Warehouse & 3PL Management: Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations management with direct exposure to third-party logistics provider (3PL) environments
- Teamwork & Interpersonal Skills: Builds trust-based relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and external partners while supporting collective operational goals
- Data & Analytical Expertise: Utilise BI tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI) for insights, with strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Safety, Compliance & Cost Optimisation: Upholds EHS standards through audits and risk mitigation while driving logistics efficiency and cost-saving initiatives
- Customer Focus & Resilience: Communicates empathetically with customers, resolves KPI/service issues, handles emergencies calmly, and engages in ongoing professional development
