Key responsibilities

As the Distribution Center Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations within a dynamic warehouse environment. Your expertise in warehouse operations, team development, and process optimisation will be critical in delivering high-quality service while maintaining safety standards and fostering stakeholder engagement.

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and quality assurance in compliance with GMP regulations
  • Drive operational efficiency through data-driven process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships by overseeing RFQ processes, performance monitoring via KPIs, and daily operations
  • Develop strategies for space utilisation and layout optimisation to maximise productivity
  • Oversee facility maintenance and ensure a clean, safe, and functional working environment to adherence to ISO45001/14001, EHS regulations, prioritizing the safety and well-being of employees

Candidate profile

To excel in this role, you will bring extensive experience in managing complex warehouse operations, coupled with strong leadership skills that foster collaboration and team growth. Your ability to balance multiple priorities while driving continuous improvement will set you apart as an effective leader.

  • Minimum five years’ experience managing large-scale warehouse operations with responsibility for teams of similar size or larger
  • Proven success implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and accuracy within distribution environments
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, order fulfilment procedures, distribution logistics, and secondary packaging under GMP guidelines
  • Experience working with SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly desirable
  • Exceptional leadership abilities paired with excellent English communication skills to build positive relationships across diverse teams
