Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Production or Logistics Specialist to join their team in Taoyuan to ensure smooth progress of factory production plans and accuracy of material supply.
This position is suitable for professionals with extensive production management experience and familiarity with material planning and management processes.
Customers and Customer Requirements:
- Internal Customers: Molding Department, Processing Department, Sales Department, Marketing Department, Specialty Sales Business Units, and Logistics Center.
- External Customers: Suppliers of raw materials, OEMs, transportation companies, and delivery service providers.
- Customer Requirements: Customers expect this position to accurately and timely acquire raw materials and parts for production. Arrange finished product manufacturing and distribution schedules to facilitate sales and service.
Scope:

Production Scheduling:
- Develop and adjust production plans to meet production goals and delivery deadlines.
- Coordinate different departments to ensure smooth production processes.
- Analyze production capacity and resource allocation, providing suggestions to optimize production efficiency.

Material Management:
- Plan, monitor, and manage the supply and inventory of materials required for production.
- Ensure timely material supply to meet production demands and avoid shortages or excess.
- Coordinate order deliveries with suppliers to ensure material quality and timely delivery.

Supplier Coordination:
- Maintain good communication with suppliers to ensure timely arrival of raw materials and resolve various material supply issues.
- Participate in supplier evaluations and selections to ensure stability and efficiency of the supply chain.

Process Improvement:
- Analyze production and material management processes, propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency and resource utilization.
- Assist in developing and implementing new systems and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency of production scheduling and material management.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Regularly organize and analyze production and material-related data, compile reports to provide decision support to management.
- Use ERP or other systems to track and manage production and material statuses, adjust plans promptly to address changes.

Team Collaboration:
- Maintain close cooperation with relevant departments such as production, warehouse, quality control, and logistics to ensure smooth implementation of production plans.
- Guide and train relevant personnel to enhance the overall team's production scheduling and material management capabilities.
Qualifications/Education/Experience Required:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related business/engineering fields.
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in production scheduling and material management, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
- Skills Required:
- Proficiency in operating production scheduling and material management tools and systems (e.g., ERP systems, SAP preferred).
- Data integration and data analysis skills.
- Communication and coordination skills to effectively interact with internal departments (production units/purchasing units, etc.) and external suppliers.
- Problem-solving and process optimization abilities.
- Ability to read internal documents and communicate via email in English, with basic listening skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, with strong organizational and adaptability skills.
