3D Generalist
A leading brand experience organisation in Taipei is seeking a talented 3D Generalist Designer to join their expanding exhibition design team. This role offers you the opportunity to transform imaginative IP concepts into immersive spatial visuals and exhibition proposals, working with renowned themes from Japanese and Korean animation, artists, and sports-related merchandise.
What you'll do:
As a 3D Generalist within the exhibition design team in Taipei, you will play a pivotal role in bringing imaginative IP concepts to life through spatial visualisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve creating intricate 3D models and renderings tailored to diverse event needs such as pop-up stores or large-scale exhibitions. You will work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and external vendors to ensure that every concept is translated into a practical solution that enhances visitor experience. By supporting the proposal phase with compelling layouts and mockups, you will help shape the narrative of each exhibition. Your involvement extends beyond digital creation; you will participate in onsite adjustments before events launch, ensuring that every detail meets both aesthetic standards and functional requirements. Success in this role means being proactive in optimising space usage, refining brand presentation strategies, sharing knowledge within the team, and staying responsive to feedback from multiple stakeholders.
- Create detailed 3D models and rendered visuals for exhibition spaces based on IP themes and event requirements, including pop-up stores, temporary events, and exhibition venues.
- Collaborate closely with internal design teams, project managers, and external production vendors to translate conceptual designs into actionable spatial solutions.
- Support the proposal phase of exhibitions by producing layouts, mockups, and renderings that clearly communicate visual ideas to stakeholders.
- Assist in optimising spatial flow, enhancing display effects, and ensuring brand presentation aligns with the intended experience for visitors.
- Participate in pre-event onsite design adjustments and communication as needed to ensure seamless execution of exhibition installations.
- Contribute to the refinement of exhibition proposals by integrating feedback from various departments and external partners.
- Maintain clear documentation of design processes and visual outputs for each project cycle.
- Engage in regular team meetings to share insights, discuss progress, and foster an atmosphere of mutual support within the design group.
- Provide input on improving workflow efficiency for 3D visualisation tasks within the exhibition design process.
- Stay updated on industry trends related to spatial design and rendering tools to continually enhance project outcomes.
What you bring:

Your ability to interpret complex briefs into visually engaging solutions sets you apart as someone who can bridge creative vision with practical execution. You possess foundational skills in communicating design ideas effectively across teams—ensuring everyone involved understands the direction of each project. Experience gained from previous involvement in pop-up store setups or similar exhibitions equips you with valuable insights into managing dynamic environments. Familiarity with graphic tools further enhances your capacity to contribute during proposal stages. A basic understanding of spatial optimisation principles allows you to refine layouts for maximum impact. Above all, your interpersonal approach fosters trust among colleagues while your commitment to ongoing development keeps your skillset relevant. Your enthusiasm for collaborative problem-solving makes you an asset not only within the immediate team but also across wider organisational networks.
- Proven experience in 3D modelling and rendering using tools such as Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp or Cinema 4D is essential for delivering high-quality spatial visuals.
- Ability to understand design requirements thoroughly and translate them into visually compelling outputs that align with event objectives.
- Basic proficiency in design communication enables effective collaboration across departments as well as with external production partners.
- Familiarity with spatial or exhibition design workflows is highly desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is equally valued.
- Experience working on pop-up stores or exhibition-related projects demonstrates adaptability in fast-evolving environments.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator adds versatility when supporting visual outputs during proposal phases.
- Understanding basic concepts related to electrical layout or spatial flow optimisation within exhibition spaces is considered advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills facilitate smooth cooperation within teams and nurture positive relationships with external collaborators.
- Commitment to continuous learning ensures you stay current with industry developments relevant to 3D visualisation and exhibition design.
