What you'll do:

  • Perform comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing to ensure all products meet stringent quality requirements before release.
  • Analyse product requirements thoroughly to design effective test cases while maintaining detailed testing documentation for future reference.
  • Execute manual testing procedures across web and mobile applications to identify issues early in the development cycle.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks to enhance efficiency and expand test coverage.
  • Accurately document all test results and conduct meticulous defect analysis to support ongoing product improvement.
  • Report defects clearly and track them through resolution by collaborating closely with developers to identify root causes and verify fixes.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of test environments to ensure reliable testing conditions for every project iteration.
  • Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives by contributing ideas for process enhancements within the QA function.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams during Agile ceremonies to provide input on quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

What you bring:

  • At least one year of hands-on experience in software testing or quality assurance roles within technology-driven organisations.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as well as Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Solid understanding of core testing theories, methodologies, and processes with proven ability to design effective test cases.
  • Experience using test management tools (such as TestRail or Zephyr) alongside bug tracking systems (like Jira or Bugzilla).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language—Python, Java, or JavaScript preferred—for scripting or automation purposes.
  • Exposure to at least one automation framework or tool (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Robot Framework, Playwright) considered advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting both web application testing and mobile app testing across multiple platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with strong analytical thinking abilities for effective teamwork within distributed teams.
  • Detail-oriented approach with outstanding problem-solving capabilities that contribute positively to overall product quality.
