What you'll do:

• Design and maintain a sophisticated cross-platform test automation framework that supports API, Web, and Mobile applications to ensure seamless integration and consistent quality.
• Promote Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD) within the team to streamline workflows and elevate development processes through shared understanding of requirements.
• Act as a Test Engineering Lead by defining clear testing standards, providing mentorship to team members, and encouraging the adoption of best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to translate complex product requirements into actionable testing strategies and execution plans.
• Develop comprehensive testing strategies that address both functional and non-functional requirements while building quality dashboards that provide real-time insights into product health.
• Foster a data-driven quality culture by leveraging metrics to inform decision-making and continuously improve testing effectiveness across projects.
• Utilise AI-assisted tools and Spec-Driven Development techniques to accelerate test development cycles while maintaining high levels of accuracy and reliability.
• Apply design patterns such as the Page Object Model to create scalable, maintainable test automation solutions that can adapt to evolving business needs.
• Drive initiatives aimed at improving CI/CD pipelines by collaborating with other teams to integrate automated tests seamlessly into deployment workflows.

• Demonstrated ability to design and implement multi-layered automation frameworks for API, Web, and Mobile platforms in real-world project environments where reliability is paramount.
• Hands-on experience utilising TDD/BDD/ATDD methodologies to enhance development processes through improved communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency applying design patterns such as Page Object Model to build scalable, maintainable test automation systems that support long-term business growth.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools along with Spec-Driven Development approaches to accelerate test creation without compromising on thoroughness or accuracy.
• A track record of developing comprehensive testing strategies that incorporate both manual exploratory tests and automated scripts for maximum coverage.
• Strong background in building quality dashboards that provide actionable insights using data analytics to inform ongoing improvements in product health.
• Ability to foster a data-driven quality culture by promoting transparency around metrics and encouraging open dialogue about process enhancements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated through successful collaboration with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, designers, and operations staff.
• Experience serving as a Test Lead or Coach responsible for driving cultural transformation towards higher standards of quality within engineering teams is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with maintaining 24/7 synthetic monitoring systems or automating business processes using agentic workflows (RPA) would be advantageous.
