What you'll do:

• Plan, design, and establish automation testing frameworks and strategies tailored to blockchain-based products, ensuring scalability and maintainability as the product evolves.
• Guarantee the quality of every product release by developing thorough test plans, executing manual tests during early stages, and transitioning to automated solutions as frameworks mature.
• Write detailed automation test scripts covering functional, integration, API, and end-to-end scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage across all features.
• Build and manage an organised test case repository while designing effective test data management mechanisms to support both manual and automated testing efforts.
• Develop custom automation tools that streamline product development processes or operational workflows, enhancing overall team efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams to seamlessly integrate automated testing into continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Review defect reports meticulously, identify software weaknesses or risk areas, and work proactively to address issues before release.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing to guarantee stability across diverse environments used by end users.
• Establish clear reporting mechanisms for tracking key quality metrics such as test coverage rates and defect trends over time.
• Help define QA processes and documentation standards that strengthen the overall quality assurance system within the organisation.

What you bring:

• A minimum of three years’ experience in quality assurance roles encompassing both manual and automation testing responsibilities within technology-driven environments.
• Proven expertise in manual testing fundamentals such as test case design, boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, and other established techniques essential for thorough validation.
• Familiarity with a wide range of testing methodologies including regression testing, system testing, integration testing, smoke testing, among others relevant to complex software systems.
• Hands-on experience using automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Jest to develop reliable automated test suites for web applications.
• Demonstrated proficiency in API testing using industry-standard tools such as Postman or similar platforms for validating backend services.
• Solid programming skills in languages such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScript enabling you to write maintainable automation scripts efficiently.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or equivalent solutions supporting modern DevOps practices.
• Exceptional critical thinking abilities paired with meticulous attention to detail allowing you to anticipate potential issues before they impact users.
• Excellent analytical skills for quickly reproducing issues reported by users or internal teams while providing clear documentation of findings.
• Strong interpersonal skills facilitating effective collaboration with engineering and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Allure for organising cases and tracking progress across multiple projects.
