What you'll do:
- Oversee the daily operations of the quality assurance team, ensuring all testing activities are conducted efficiently and effectively to meet organisational standards.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve QA processes, policies, and best practices to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, engineering, and customer support to ensure seamless communication and alignment on quality objectives.
- Mentor, guide, and nurture QA team members by providing regular feedback, coaching sessions, and opportunities for skill development within a supportive framework.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to product quality, analyse trends, and prepare detailed reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for defects or issues identified during testing phases, ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly and thoroughly.
- Champion the adoption of new tools or methodologies that promote efficiency, accuracy, and inclusivity within the QA process.
- Coordinate with external partners or vendors when necessary to uphold rigorous quality standards across all deliverables.
- Facilitate regular team meetings focused on knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and internal policies throughout all stages of the QA lifecycle.
