What you'll do:

  • Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test strategies for Web, Mobile Web, and App platforms to ensure high standards of product quality.
  • Create detailed test plans and test cases that cover functional, user experience, compatibility, integration, and performance aspects of each release.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and development teams to track bug fixing progress, reproduce reported issues, and verify implemented fixes.
  • Analyse test execution results thoroughly, consolidating findings into clear reports that inform stakeholders about product readiness.
  • Prepare documentation such as Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Reports to maintain transparency throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Utilise browser debug modes effectively to troubleshoot HTTP requests and responses during testing activities.
  • Assist in identifying root causes of defects through logical thinking and methodical problem-solving approaches.
  • Support the team by participating in regular reviews of testing processes and suggesting improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Engage in cross-functional communication to ensure alignment between testing objectives and overall project goals.
  • Contribute actively to knowledge sharing sessions within the team to promote best practices in manual quality assurance.

What you bring:

  • At least two years of hands-on experience conducting manual testing for Web or App platforms within collaborative environments.
  • Proficiency in creating structured Test Plans, Test Cases, and producing clear Test Reports that communicate findings effectively.
  • Familiarity with browser debugging tools for troubleshooting HTTP requests and responses during manual testing activities.
  • Demonstrated logical thinking abilities combined with strong problem-solving skills that enable efficient identification of issues.
  • Experience assisting project managers or developers in tracking bug fixes, reproducing errors, and verifying solutions within a team setting.
  • Understanding of packet analysis tools such as Fiddler or Charles for monitoring network traffic during tests (nice to have).
  • Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or JMeter for validating backend services (nice to have).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL commands allowing you to perform data validation tasks (nice to have).
  • Programming experience with automation frameworks such as Python (Selenium/Playwright), Cypress (JavaScript), or Java (Selenium/Playwright) is advantageous but not required (nice to have).
  • Ability to present a complete portfolio or GitHub link showcasing previous QA projects is highly regarded during the interview process.
