What you'll do:

• Assist in system testing of new applications as well as existing software to ensure all deliverables meet detailed design specifications and customer requirements.
• Perform thorough regression testing on both new applications and enhancements to existing software, identifying any potential impacts or issues caused by changes.
• Maintain and manage manual or automated test scripts along with test databases to support ongoing quality assurance activities across multiple projects.
• Design, write, execute, and maintain comprehensive tests for web applications and platform APIs to guarantee robust performance under various scenarios.
• Evaluate specification documents, requirements, and technical designs to provide prompt feedback that enhances product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Record detailed test results and follow up on fault report cases by collaborating closely with engineers from related disciplines to resolve issues efficiently.
• Assist in verifying reported faults within existing software by reproducing issues accurately and documenting evidence for further analysis.
• Ensure all work produced aligns with customer expectations before being released for internal approval processes within the organisation.
• Adhere strictly to guidelines and standards defined by both the team and the wider company to maintain consistency in quality assurance practices.
• Stay actively involved during development stages while keeping up-to-date with emerging testing tools, frameworks, and strategies relevant to blockchain technology.

What you bring:

• Demonstrated experience across various types of testing including Application Testing, System Testing, Mobile Testing—enabling you to approach challenges from multiple perspectives.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in quality assurance roles within software or fintech environments ensures you bring proven expertise; at least one year’s exposure to blockchain testing is highly desirable.
• Technical background with hands-on understanding of software development principles as well as web technologies allows you to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of different testing methods such as Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Stress Testing, and API Testing equips you for complex project demands.
• Proficiency using industry-standard testing tools like Jmeter, Fiddler, Postman, adb logcat, Charles or similar platforms supports efficient workflow management.
• Experience working within agile environments means you thrive in collaborative settings where adaptability is key.
• Exceptional organisational skills—including acute attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities—ensure nothing slips through the cracks during busy release cycles.
• Excellent communication skills paired with strong teamwork capabilities enable you to build positive relationships across departments while resolving issues constructively.
• Advanced analytical skills for diagnosing faults or bugs found during testing phases help maintain high product standards.
• Optional: Familiarity with app automation frameworks (such as Appium, Katalon Studio, Espresso or Xcode), scripting languages (Python or JavaScript), API automation development experience or knowledge of Android/iOS mobile platforms would be advantageous.
