Our client is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their team in Taipei. The successful candidate will have the chance to design and develop automated testing frameworks, tools, and scripts, as well as participate in code reviews to ensure test code quality and maintainability.

What you'll do:

• Design and develop automated testing frameworks, tools, and scripts
• Write and maintain automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor test execution, analyze test results, and report software defects
• Participate in code reviews to ensure test code quality and maintainability
• Research and implement the latest testing tools and technologies to improve software quality
• Work closely with developers to ensure test strategies align with software architecture
• Conduct API testing, performance testing, and security testing when necessary

What you bring:

• 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation development
• Experience in manual and automated testing IoT products
• Experience in Python programming
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Playwright)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
• Proficient in writing clear and concise test plans and test cases
• Knowledge of API testing and Web testing
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud services (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
