Sr. Automation QA

Our client is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge web applications and Decentralised Applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, as well as conducting comprehensive testing of smart contracts within the blockchain environment.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
• Implement and manage test automation frameworks using tools.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that tests are run consistently with every build.
• Develop comprehensive test plans for web applications and DApps, covering functional, integration, performance, and security aspects.
• Conduct thorough testing of smart contracts, ensuring they operate as intended within the blockchain environment.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Monitor automated test results, troubleshoot issues, and work with development teams to resolve problems.
• Identify, document, and manage defects through tools like Jira / Github, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technologies, decentralized systems, and web technologies.

What you bring:

• Experience in at least one of the following programming languages: Go, Python, etc.
• Solid understanding of blockchain tech.
• Passionate about software development and eager to learn new tech.
• Experience with blockchain security testing and auditing is a plus.
• Familiarity with DeFi NFTs and other blockchain-based ecosystems is a plus.
