Senior SDET (Android)

We’re partnering with a leading innovator in the payment solutions space to look for a Software Quality Engineer who’s passionate about test automation and product reliability. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-impact team building mobile and smart point-of-sale products used by major retailers and platforms worldwide.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

Your Role at a Glance

• Work closely with software development teams to define testing requirements and design automated test cases for SDKs, mobile apps (iOS/Android), firmware, and services

• Build and maintain a robust automated testing framework and reliable test scripts

• Develop detailed test plans, documentation, and strategies for functional, regression, and non-functional testing

• Execute automation test suites to ensure stability and performance before product releases

• Report bugs and collaborate with developers to drive timely resolutions

• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to streamline delivery

• Promote testing best practices across the team, working with PMs, engineers, and QA peers in an Agile environment

What You’ll Bring (Requirements)

What We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of experience in software quality or test engineering, with a focus on automation

• Proficiency in automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG) and programming languages like Kotlin, Java, or Go

• Familiarity with version control (e.g. Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Travis, GitLab CI)

• Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have:

• 5+ years of QA or automation experience

• Multilingual abilities in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
