QA Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join their team in Taipei. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and maintain test plans for BMC solutions on server platforms. What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain test plans for BMC solutions on server platforms
• Set up and maintain the test environment and tools
• Work closely with a bug tracking system to provide detailed information on how to recreate bugs
• Collaborate with engineering staff to diagnose and resolve bugs
• Provide training to other members on testing best practices
• Implement automation testing wherever feasible
• Assist with the setup, maintenance, and coding required for test automation

What you bring:

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent, or 5+ years’ experience in firmware or software testing
• 3+ years’ experience in BMC firmware testing
• Familiarity with IPMI, Redfish and web interface
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and Linux
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well both with a team and independently
