What you'll do:

* Lead the end-to-end delivery of unified software platforms, ensuring alignment with the requirements of multiple business groups while maintaining a standardised core architecture.
* Oversee the integration of data platforms that consolidate fragmented information from various industrial sources such as MES, SCADA, EMS, VMS into actionable business intelligence and related applications.
* Define and monitor key project performance indicators that support corporate transformation strategies, shifting from one-off project delivery models to scalable productised solutions.
* Act as the primary liaison between corporate functions, business unit product teams, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
* Navigate complex organisational structures by harmonising conflicting priorities between traditional hardware-centric business units and emerging software-driven initiatives.
* Facilitate technical discussions between software architects and business owners to guarantee that solution architectures are robust enough to support long-term software-led business models.
* Establish and enforce group-wide standards for software project management including resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and change management protocols.
* Drive adoption of Agile/Scrum methodologies across teams to enhance project delivery efficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Champion best practices in software governance by implementing rigorous processes for quality assurance, compliance, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

What you bring:

* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management or a related technical field is essential for this role.
* At least 10 years’ experience in software project management with proven leadership on large-scale enterprise digital transformation or data platform projects is required.
* A strong background in industries such as Power/Energy/Manufacturing or ICT (core system integration), where high reliability and complex data integration are critical.
* Comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle including cloud-native applications, API-led integration approaches, and microservices architecture.
* Hands-on experience with IT/OT convergence projects involving industrial protocols (such as Modbus, BACnet, DNP3, IEC 60870-5, OPC UA) as well as IoT protocols (MQTT, WebAPI) integrated into higher-level software layers.
* Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority within matrix organisations through effective communication and relationship-building skills.
* Project management certification such as PMP or ACP (or equivalent) is mandatory for this position.
* Fluency in both English and Chinese is required for effective cross-regional collaboration.
