A leading global technology solutions provider is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join their expanding team in Taipei. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of hardware and software, contributing to the development of large-scale, mission-critical systems used in real-world environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across regions, driving complex technical programmes from concept through delivery.

As a Technical Program Manager based in Taipei, you will be deeply involved in the delivery of complex, enterprise-grade technology platforms that sit at the intersection of hardware and software. Your day-to-day work will focus on defining, planning, coordinating, and executing critical technical programs that support globally deployed, mission-critical solutions.

You will serve as a central coordination point across engineering teams responsible for device software, applications, SDKs, and backend services, ensuring each release meets high standards for quality, stability, and reliability. Working closely with product, design, documentation, go-to-market, and external partners, you will help align stakeholders around shared technical and delivery goals.

Your responsibilities will include improving release and versioning processes, maintaining and evolving technical documentation, supporting platform migrations, and driving scalable operational improvements across regions. Success in this role means delivering dependable, well-coordinated releases that support real-world, high-volume use cases while maintaining a strong focus on usability and long-term maintainability.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate across engineering, product, go-to-market, documentation, and design teams to finalise and release software updates for enterprise platforms.

  • Partner with application, SDK, and API teams to manage versioned releases and supporting assets across multiple languages and environments.

  • Oversee end-to-end testing processes to ensure safe, reliable rollout of new software components.

  • Work with technical writers and product teams to maintain documentation, integration guides, API references, migration guides, and change logs.

  • Ensure changes are clearly communicated to both internal teams and external users.

  • Evaluate and define tools and workflows to support efficient, enterprise-scale release management.

  • Own versioning, migration, and deprecation strategies to ensure platform stability and continuity.

  • Drive cross-functional planning and execution for large, multi-team technical programs.

  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across functions, regions, and time zones.


What you bring

You bring solid experience managing complex technical programs within fast-moving, high-impact environments. Your background combines a strong understanding of software systems with structured program management practices, allowing you to navigate technical detail without losing sight of delivery outcomes.

You are comfortable working across teams with different priorities, communicating clearly, and maintaining momentum in ambiguous situations. You approach challenges analytically, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and long-term sustainability. Experience working with API-driven platforms and coordinating system changes at scale will be particularly valuable.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program/product management within complex organisations.

  • Strong understanding of system architecture and a consistent focus on quality, reliability, and correctness.

  • Proven experience managing initiatives across the full software lifecycle, from definition through launch.

  • Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to build trust across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience driving process improvements across multiple teams in large-scale environments.

  • Ability to work independently while coordinating initiatives across distributed, cross-functional teams.

  • Analytical mindset with hands-on experience supporting large-scale platforms or infrastructure.

  • Experience leading API-based projects or integrations at scale; exposure to regulated or high-reliability domains is a plus.

  • Familiarity with release management, versioning, migration, and deprecation practices.
