What you'll do:
* Lead the execution of large-scale technical projects, ensuring all deliverables are met within agreed timelines, budgets, and scope requirements.
* Develop comprehensive project plans that detail progress tracking, milestone achievement, dependency mapping, and clear deliverable definitions for each phase.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning Taiwan, the United States, India, and ODM partners to foster effective communication and shared understanding throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage resource allocation strategically to optimise productivity across engineering, QA, design, product management, and vendor teams.
* Implement robust change management processes for project scope, schedule adjustments, and cost control using industry-standard methodologies.
* Monitor project performance closely by leveraging appropriate tools and KPIs to ensure objectives are consistently achieved.
* Identify potential risks proactively—especially those related to hardware–software integration—and develop mitigation strategies that safeguard project outcomes.
* Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth collaboration and information flow.
* Prepare detailed status reports and progress presentations for senior management and executive leadership to keep all parties informed of developments.
* Facilitate daily scrums or stand-up meetings that promote alignment among engineering, QA, design, and product teams while nurturing a culture of cooperation.
What you bring:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Management or a related discipline provides a strong foundation for this role.
* At least five years of hands-on experience managing software or hardware development projects equips you with practical insights into technical programme delivery; eight to ten years is highly desirable.
* Deep familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies enables you to adapt approaches based on project needs.
* Proven track record in mobile application development or embedded device projects demonstrates your versatility across platforms.
* Experience managing multinational and cross-functional teams ensures you can navigate cultural nuances while promoting teamwork.
* Excellent English communication skills—both verbal and written—allow you to engage effectively with global stakeholders.
* Exceptional time management abilities combined with prioritisation skills help you juggle competing demands smoothly.

* Desirable: Familiarity with hardware development processes such as NPI (New Product Introduction), EVT/DVT/PVT stages enhances your understanding of manufacturing cycles.

* Desirable: Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence or similar Agile project management tools streamlines workflow tracking and collaboration.
