Technical PM (Java)

A confidential client in the digital entertainment industry is seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong Java development background to lead backend development initiatives and support cross-functional teams. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy leader who can balance hands-on coding with project oversight and stakeholder communication in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals and define actionable development plans.

• Lead and manage backend projects, particularly for gaming platforms and sports-related systems.

• Provide technical guidance to a development team of 10–20 engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

• Participate in backend coding (primarily Java), system integration, and technical decision-making.

• Oversee cross-team coordination and align with leadership across regions (e.g., Hong Kong).

• Evaluate vendor integration opportunities and contribute to the development of new product initiatives.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements)

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development (Golang knowledge is a plus).

• Proven understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with game or sports betting platforms is strongly preferred.

• Strong communication and team leadership skills, with experience leading 10+ member teams.

• Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

• Fluency in Mandarin; proficiency in English is a plus.
