What you'll do:
As a UI/UX Designer, you will be instrumental in transforming how fish are caught by contributing significantly to our client's product and design strategy. You will own all aspects of design execution, from discovery through implementation. Your ability to use storytelling will help align stakeholders with your design process. You will play an influential role in shaping end-to-end experiences for critical operator workflows. Your commitment to maintaining a high standard of craft will drive novel experiences at the edge, evolving the underlying platform experience. Balancing short-term tactical bets with long-term strategic pursuits will be key in this role. Additionally, you will help shape ways of working within a centralized product design function in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to the overall direction and decision-making for product and design strategy.
- Own all aspects of design execution from discovery, ideation, prototyping, testing, and implementation.
- Use storytelling to align and bring stakeholders along in your design process.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this UI/UX Designer role brings 5+ years of industry experience along with a high attention to detail and mastery of visual & interaction design craft. You should have an online portfolio demonstrating multimodal experiences and the ability to clearly articulate the why, process, and impact of your work. Your facilitation skills will be put to use leading discovery workshops with customers and cross-functional stakeholders. Familiarity with leading user research sessions to validate your work is also important. You should be opinionated about design operations and efforts to increase team efficiency, and have demonstrated proactiveness in helping to shape team culture and mentorship participation.
- 5+ years of industry experience.
