What you'll do:

• Own the reliability, scalability and high availability of enterprise data platforms, ensuring stable and high-performance operations across the organisation.
• Design and manage multi-source ingestion and scalable ETL and ELT pipelines supporting both batch and real-time streaming workloads.
• Build robust data quality, reconciliation and automated remediation frameworks to maintain accurate, trusted production datasets.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, lineage tracking and governance practices while applying infrastructure as code, version control, testing and CI CD to reduce operational risk.
• Partner with analytics and product teams to operationalise AI and GenAI solutions, evaluate new technologies and promote best practices in security, compliance and continuous improvement.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or large-scale data platform architecture within structured environments.
• Strong expertise in cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery and Redshift, with advanced SQL and workflow orchestration using Airflow.
• Solid experience in real-time streaming technologies including Kafka and scalable ETL and ELT pipeline design.
• Deep understanding of data warehouse modelling, governance, security, compliance, infrastructure as code, version control, testing and CI CD practices.
• Proven ability to support AI and GenAI initiatives while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
