What you'll do:

• Define and execute strategic roadmaps for enterprise-level data platforms, AI platforms, and LLM infrastructure within the financial technology domain, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
• Provide professional technical direction and support to guide teams in adopting best practices for data engineering, AI development, and LLM deployment.
• Lead the design, development, deployment, maintenance, and optimisation of Data Lakehouse-based platforms to enhance scalability, performance, flexibility, and operational stability.
• Oversee the implementation of Denodo-based data virtualization strategies by integrating heterogeneous data sources for unified access and improved utilisation efficiency.
• Direct the creation of robust ETL/ELT processes that ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data across multiple sources.
• Formulate integration strategies for Data Lakehouse or Denodo-based virtualization to support AI/LLM model training applications while establishing comprehensive quality assurance frameworks.
• Drive the design and management of enterprise-level AI platforms, LLM infrastructure, and MLOps pipelines to enable secure model development, fine-tuning, deployment, and stable operations.
• Establish monitoring frameworks for data pipelines, databases, Data Lakehouse systems, AI platforms, and LLM applications; develop analytics strategies to optimise reliability and efficiency.
• Serve as a strategic liaison between AI scientists, IT departments, business leaders—translating business needs into technical solutions while facilitating effective communication among stakeholders.
• Oversee team formation including recruitment and talent development; set clear goals; streamline workflows; inspire continuous learning; evaluate performance; provide feedback; develop personalised growth plans; ensure regulatory compliance.

What you bring:

• Extensive experience in managing high-performing teams within data engineering or AI domains—demonstrating collaborative leadership skills that foster growth-oriented cultures.
• Proven track record in designing strategic roadmaps for enterprise-level data platforms including hands-on expertise with Data Lakehouse architectures.
