[ 3D Sensing Company ] Algorithm Engineer

This exciting role focuses on developing imaging/video algorithms for standard products, working closely with cross-functional teams to apply these products to customer fields. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in practical research, development, and programming in intelligent image processing. This involves creating novel algorithms that will be integrated into existing image processing tools/systems.

What you'll do:

As an Algorithm Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing imaging/video algorithms for our client's standard products. You will work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams, applying your expertise to enhance customer experience. Your key responsibilities include maintaining the image quality performance of the product, designing automated testing processes, and contributing to the development of innovative algorithms. Your commitment to staying abreast of the latest trends in computer vision and machine learning will be crucial in driving the success of our client's products.

• Work collaboratively with other teams and vendors on projects.
• Develop and maintain the image quality performance of the product based on marketing requirements.
• Design and automate image testing and validation processes.
• Contribute to the development of novel algorithms for intelligent image processing.
• Ensure integration of new algorithms into existing image processing tools/systems.
• Stay updated with latest trends and advancements in computer vision, machine learning or image processing areas.

What you bring:

The ideal Algorithm Engineer brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role. With a minimum qualification of an MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, you have spent at least three years honing your skills in a similar role. Your proficiency in C, C++, or Python is matched by your strong interest in computer vision, machine learning, or image processing areas. Excellent communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Preferred qualifications include experience with OpenCV, OpenCL or CUDA, 3D-relative algorithm or AOI, Stereo vision or TOF, and a track record of successful independent research.

• MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
• Strong interest in computer vision, machine learning or image processing areas.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in computer vision or machine learning algorithms (preferred).
