Data Engineer - TC/ Overseas

Our client is seeking a Big Data Ecosystem Specialist to lead the development and management of data marketplaces and applications. This role involves managing data flows, implementing data governance policies, and optimizing data-driven business strategies to enhance operational efficiency and innovation.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain analytical data marketplaces, API-based data platforms, and management systems.
• Establish engineering workflows, develop system documentation, and implement structured processes.
• Process and integrate both structured and unstructured data for seamless operations.
• Apply data-driven strategies to enhance business processes and implement systems to optimize data applications.
• Define and enforce data governance policies to maintain high data quality standards.

What You’ll Bring

• Practical experience in large-scale database development (experience with Hadoop, Teradata, or SAS certification preferred).
• Proficiency in distributed and parallel computing.
• Positive mindset, strong team spirit, and excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Strong programming skills (Java, .NET, JavaScript, SAS, R, Python, or Scala preferred).
• Experience with machine learning, AI frameworks, and tools is advantageous.
• Banking industry, FinTech, and AWS/GCP experience is a plus.
