What you'll do:

As the VP of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's high frequency crypto trading platform. You will be responsible for building low-latency trading systems that ensure performance and reliability in high-frequency trading environments. Your leadership skills will be crucial as you manage the development team, delegate tasks, monitor project progress, and ensure team objectives are met on time. You will also coordinate cross-departmental projects, ensuring effective alignment between technical and business requirements.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Director of Engineering position brings at least 7 years of experience in developing low-latency, high frequency trading systems. You have a proven track record of efficient and optimized coding with proficiency in Java. Your knowledge of crypto markets and trading instruments sets you apart from others. A strong foundation in mathematics and statistics is essential for this role. Fluency in both written and spoken English is required; proficiency in Chinese would be an advantage. You must be willing to travel occasionally.

• At least 7 years of experience in developing low-latency, high frequency trading systems, preferably with some experience in crypto.
• Proficiency in Java, with a track record of efficient and optimized coding.
• Knowledge of crypto markets and trading instruments.
• Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics.
