What you'll do:
As the CTO, you will oversee the company’s technical strategy and ensure its seamless alignment with business goals. You will lead all aspects of technology development, from infrastructure and systems to processes and people management.
- Define and implement the company’s technology vision and roadmap.
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team of over 100 members across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and R&D.
- Drive the development of low-latency, high-performance trading systems for high-frequency environments.
- Oversee the design and optimization of blockchain solutions and cryptocurrency trading platforms.
- Collaborate closely with cross-departmental stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical initiatives and business objectives.
- Stay at the forefront of technological advancements to maintain the company’s industry leadership.
- Mentor and coach engineering leaders to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this CTO role is a seasoned leader with a strong background in blockchain, cryptocurrency exchanges, or the financial industry, coupled with extensive experience in managing large engineering teams.
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, including 5+ years leading engineering teams of 100+ members.
- Proven experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency exchanges, or financial industries.
- Expertise in developing and scaling low-latency, high-performance trading systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or similar.
- Strong understanding of crypto markets, trading instruments, and blockchain technologies.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align technology and business goals.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (Chinese proficiency is a plus).
- Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
