What you'll do:
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological future of our client's products. You will be responsible for translating high-level product requirements into detailed specifications, managing third-party relationships, and overseeing project planning. Your leadership skills will be crucial in providing effective coaching to developers on various aspects including software design, system architecture, and technical communication. - Translate high-level product requirements into detailed Software Engineering Requirement Specifications (SW ERS)
- Oversee and manage development activities involving suppliers, engineering and quality teams
- Develop and maintain software Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project plan with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Provide effective coaching to developers on software design, system architecture, team collaboration, mentorship, leadership, and technical communication
- Continuously refine software development processes with team input
- Develop a technology vision for the platform for MS Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Android OS
- Manage a software development team of approximately 5-7 members
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning by exploring new technologies

- In-depth knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle
- Strong project management skills
- Experience with developing cross-platform desktop applications
- Demonstrated leadership in software engineering with specific expertise in system architecture, design, implementation, coding verification/validation
