What you'll do:
As a Software Engineer based in Taipei City, you will be instrumental in developing tools that streamline workflows for engineers throughout the organisation. Your day-to-day activities will involve designing robust CI/CD pipelines, deploying innovative solutions across diverse software stacks, and collaborating with global teams to address technical challenges. - Build tools and libraries that enhance developer productivity for engineers working across the payment device ecosystem by understanding their needs and proposing both short-term and long-term solutions.

- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support a secure software development lifecycle for projects spanning firmware, Android ROMs, and Android/iOS mobile SDKs.
- Deploy new tooling across the company’s software stack with a particular focus on build systems, continuous integration processes, and test automation infrastructure.
- Communicate effectively with global teams to provide technical support when needed and ensure smooth collaboration between stakeholders from different regions.
- Perform routine code reviews to guarantee high-quality design and implementation standards are met throughout all stages of development.
- Work with stakeholders across the broader payment hardware and software platform to balance competing priorities while delivering robust solutions.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of automated testing infrastructure by identifying bottlenecks and implementing pragmatic enhancements.
- Support knowledge sharing within the team by documenting best practices and mentoring less experienced engineers as required.
