[Health Tech StratUp] CTO/ Senior PHP Developer

This role focuses on building and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend systems that support core products used by real customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment and play a key role in improving system reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems with a strong focus on performance and scalability.

• Analyze business and system requirements, and translate them into well-structured technical solutions.

• Optimize existing systems, including application logic and database performance.

• Collaborate with product, frontend, and other engineering teams to deliver new features and enhancements.

• Participate in Scrum-based development with bi-weekly sprints.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure stable and continuous delivery.

• Take part in technical sharing sessions and ongoing improvement initiatives within the team.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements)

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development.

• Strong proficiency in PHP, with hands-on experience in frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.

• Solid experience with relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks.

• Proven ability to perform database and application performance optimization.

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Proficient in Git-based version control workflows.

• Comfortable working in a collaborative, agile team environment.
