What will you do:

As a Backend Team Lead, you'll be responsible for planning and leading the backend architecture design and technical decisions for core products, while also leading a passionate engineering team to drive high-quality delivery. In your daily work, you will be deeply involved in system design, API development and maintenance, and the implementation of engineering best practices to continuously improve product performance and stability. In addition, you need to establish and optimize the team development process, assist in the technical growth of members, and cultivate talents, playing a key role in cross-departmental cooperation and effectively integrating resources from all parties to achieve project goals. This position is ideal for individuals with a high sense of responsibility and a willingness to share knowledge, continuously improving themselves and leading the team to grow together in a supportive environment.

  • Plan and lead the back-end architecture design and technical decisions of online core systems (such as e-commerce platforms or CRM systems) to ensure system maintainability, scalability, and high availability.
  • Develop, maintain, and integrate various back-end services, including writing and maintaining APIs and related technical documentation to support complex business logic requirements.
  • Continuously implement engineering best practices, such as code quality improvement, test coverage enhancement, and performance optimization, to ensure stable product operation.
  • Lead a back-end engineering team of 8-10 people, responsible for task allocation, progress control, and quality management, and promote a teamwork atmosphere.
  • Establish and optimize team development processes, including code review, version control, CI/CD, and release processes, to improve delivery efficiency and quality.
  • Assist team members in technical growth, performance management, talent cultivation, and recruitment of new blood to build a cohesive engineering team.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration, such as front-end, product, UX, and data teams, to assess requirements and develop actionable technical solutions.
  • Support cross-channel integration projects to improve the stability and user experience of digital services.
  • Assist in formulating medium- and long-term technology planning and architectural evolution strategies, leading the team to meet future challenges.

What you bring:

Ideal candidates should have solid Golang development skills and practical experience in large-scale systems or high-traffic services, enabling you to handle complex problems independently and propose effective solutions. Additionally, familiarity with RESTful API design principles and modern development tools like git and docker is essential foundation for success in this role. In terms of databases, if you are familiar with RDBMS, NoSQL, and Redis, and have extensive practical experience, you will be better able to respond to diverse needs. In addition, this position places great importance on your communication and collaboration skills, whether it is cross-departmental cooperation or intra-team communication, you need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. If you've ever worked on a code review or set a coding specification, you can also bring a higher level of output to your team. Experience in managing engineering teams of 5 or more people is particularly preferred, and if you also have bonus skills such as unit testing or microservices architecture, you can excel in this role.   • Possess back-end development and system design capabilities, enabling effective planning and execution of complex business logic.
  • Good team communication skills and cross-departmental collaboration experience can facilitate smooth collaboration between different departments.
  • Experience in Code Review, able to develop coding specifications and provide technical guidance to improve the overall team.
  • Experience managing engineering teams of more than 5 people (or equivalent to Technical Lead/TL/EM) to effectively assign tasks and control project schedules.
  • Bonus conditions: Experience in unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, etc., can strengthen product quality assurance mechanisms.
  • Bonus conditions: Experience in gRPC or microservices architecture, as well as familiarity with Kubernetes, GCP, Queue systems, and CI/CD technologies are preferred. Experience in e-commerce, CRM, or large membership systems is a plus.
