Our client is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with solid experience in DevOps to play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust machine learning platforms and data pipelines. What you'll do:

As a Senior Backend Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain robust backend systems and scalable data pipelines. You will ensure seamless deployment, scaling, and monitoring of services in production environments. • Design, implement, and maintain backend services and scalable data pipelines

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (frontend, ML, DevOps) to integrate systems seamlessly

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Backend Engineer position brings strong programming and system design skills, along with solid experience in container orchestration and cloud infrastructure.

• Strong programming skills in Python (experience with Go, Java, or similar languages is a plus)

• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Hands-on experience deploying and scaling services on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)

• Experience working with backend servers and APIs (e.g., FastAPI, Django)

• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging frameworks

• Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and high-availability architectures

• Knowledge of data engineering concepts (ETL pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses) is a plus

• Experience with machine learning systems or MLOps tools (e.g., Kubeflow, MLflow, TFX) is a plus, but not required
