Senior Software Developer - Ruby on Rails

A leading global technology company is seeking a Senior Software Developer specializing in Ruby on Rails to join its dynamic team in Taipei. The successful candidate will design, develop, maintain, and improve software for various venture projects, actively participating in both frontend and backend development to create scalable applications.

Responsibilities

• Engage in backend service and operations development, propose architectural decisions, and participate in design reviews, coding, and code reviews.
• Develop retail trading products and expand them to new regions and countries.
• Identify issues and implement solutions for complex problems within large-scale backend infrastructure.
• Provide reliable and reactive trading information streams to customers.
• Offer technical operational support to resolve customer issues.
• Embrace innovation by staying open to new technologies and encouraging experimentation.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to improve the technology stack for long-term engineering initiatives.
• Manage documentation for all implemented code and functionalities.
