Our client is seeking an Engineering Manager to bridge business strategies with technological solutions. The Engineering Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement technology plans that enhance customer products and optimize business processes. Additionally, they will oversee key development projects and maintain the company’s technical infrastructure. What you'll do:

As the Engineering Director/Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our client's technological roadmap. You will be responsible for bridging business strategies with engineering execution, ensuring alignment between platform requirements and product growth. Leading a team of technology professionals, you will oversee the development and delivery of platforms, mobile applications, and other digital products. Your leadership will foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

  • Translate business strategies into actionable engineering plans, aligning technology platforms with product evolution.

  • Oversee the development, delivery, and maintenance of platforms, mobile applications, and other critical digital products.

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 20-50+ engineers, driving performance, growth, and team cohesion.

  • Drive the development of scalable and high-quality technical solutions, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

  • Implement best practices in engineering processes, including agile development, DevOps, and cloud adoption.

  • Manage engineering budgets and resource allocation to ensure efficient delivery while maintaining service quality.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional business leaders to align engineering priorities with business goals.

  • Champion a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence across the engineering team.

  • Monitor and maintain the technical infrastructure to ensure seamless platform operations and customer experience.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Engineering Director/Manager role will bring substantial technical leadership experience and a strong track record of driving engineering excellence.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 8+ years of technical leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a Director or Senior Engineering role.

  • Proven expertise in managing and scaling engineering teams, including recruiting, mentoring, and retaining top talent.

  • Strong background in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps practices, agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Solid experience in platform architecture, infrastructure deployment, and application lifecycle management.

  • Deep understanding of QA/QC processes, application maintenance, and software development best practices.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage engineering budgets and resources effectively.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align engineering solutions with business needs.

  • Passion for fostering an engineering culture that embraces innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
