Our client is seeking a Software Engineer with a passion for integrating AI image analysis methods into network image monitoring platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects involving streaming encoding/decoding technologies and backend web service development using RESTful API. The successful candidate will also have the chance to develop 3rd party integration interfaces using C++ or Python technology and port systems to different environments or platforms.

What you'll do:
As a Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of integrating AI image analysis methods into network image monitoring platforms. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include working on technical integration, system performance optimisation and tuning, and algorithm result validation. You will also be involved in developing backend web services using RESTful API and converting and relaying between communication protocols such as RTSP/WebRTC. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to develop 3rd party integration interfaces using C++ or Python technology and port systems to different environments or platforms.
- Integrate facial recognition, license plate recognition, object detection, behaviour recognition, and other AI image analysis techniques into a network image monitoring platform.
- Work on technical integration, system performance optimisation and tuning, and algorithm result validation.
- Develop backend web services using RESTful API.
- Convert and relay between communication protocols such as RTSP/WebRTC.
- Develop 3rd party integration interface (SDK/API) using C++ or Python technology.
- Port systems to different environments such as Windows/Ubuntu or different platforms like x86/ARM.
