What you'll do:
As a Senior C++ Engineer specialising in Image Processing, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's software development projects. You'll be involved in every step of the process, from participating in algorithm development for inspection and metrology to collaborating with architects, designers, and engineers to develop robust computer vision modules. Your excellent organisational skills will come into play as you work with Product Management to prioritise feature development and breakdown tasks. You'll also drive infrastructure and architectural optimisation solutions, perform code reviews, assess and improve algorithm performance, troubleshoot software issues, fix bugs, and facilitate cross-nation and cross-team communication.
- Participate in algorithm development for inspection and metrology
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to develop robust computer vision modules
- Work with Product Management to prioritise feature development and breakdown tasks

- Perform code reviews and ensure proper design and delivery
- Assess and improve algorithm performance

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior C++ Engineer (Image Processing) role will bring a wealth of experience in software development. With a Bachelor's degree or higher in exact sciences such as Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electro-Optical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or Physics under your belt, you'll have spent at least 3 years in hands-on development as a computer vision engineer, Machine learning engineer or related role. Your solid skills in C++ programming will be matched by your excellent communication and organisational skills. You'll also have experience transferring technology from research in computer vision, image processing or machine learning into a shipping product, and the ability to work on complex projects and translate requirements from internal and external customers into algorithm specs. Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket/JIRA is also required.
