What you'll do:
As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative solutions. You will collaborate closely with product owners and other team members to create new features and user stories for new or revised applications. Your role will involve participating in code reviews, responding promptly to support calls, and mentoring less experienced staff. Your expertise in Object Oriented Design (OOD) and analysis will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in new/revised applications or large/complex development projects.
- Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story.
- Respond to trouble/support calls for applications in production in order to make quick repair to keep application in production.
- Participate in all team ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration and team retrospectives.
- Mentor less experienced technical staff; may use high end development tools to assist or facilitate development process.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Object Oriented Design (OOD) and analysis.
- Apply non-functional software qualities such as resiliency, maintainability, etc.
What you bring:
As a Senior Java Engineer, you will bring a wealth of experience in Java 8 and Spring Boot. Your familiarity with Microservices, Databases, Public Cache, Message Queues, Coordinators, APMs, Documentation, Search and Reporting, Log Real-time Visualization, Monitoring, Containers, and CI/CD will be invaluable. Your ability to mentor less experienced staff and your commitment to maintaining high standards of software quality will set you apart.
- Proficiency with Java 8, Spring Boot
- Experience with Microservices: Spring Cloud (Spring Cloud Config / Open Feign / Spring Cloud Hystrix / Spring Cloud Gateway)
- Knowledge of Database: MySQL (Aurora / RDS)
- Familiarity with Public Cache: ElastiCache, Redis (MS, Sentinel, cluster)

- Experience with Coordinator: Zookeeper
