Collaborate closely with field teams to comprehend the requirements of key customer engagements.
Review technical requests and coordinate task assignments with the local team.
Ensure close alignment with US-based software leadership on local activities and priorities.
Forecast resource/skill profiles for short-term planning and long-term strategy.
Lead technical initiatives and engage in communication with various internal and external stakeholders.
Supervise defect triage, tracking, and reporting to customers and software teams based in the US and UK.
Convey critical issues, project status, and requirements to counterparts in US and UK-based software teams.
Collaborate across teams and geographies to identify and propel continuous improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Over 10 years of software development experience.
More than 5 years of software management experience.
Effective communication and collaboration across geographies, internal teams, and external customers and partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Expertise in Windows kernel software development, Windows driver integration, PC system bring-up, and ACPI.
Understanding of OS architectural challenges, including race conditions, synchronization, deadlocks, and interrupt management.
Familiarity with serial buses and protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, I2S, HDA, SoundWire).
Strong troubleshooting skills using software (automated tests, logs, debuggers), hardware (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMMs), and other resources (schematics and data sheets).
In-depth understanding of Intel and AMD platforms.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in development board and customer platform bring-up.
Background in customer enablement and field engagements.
Familiarity with continuous-integration systems (Jenkins, SonarQube) and static-analysis tools.
