Product Reliability Engineer

About the Role A fast-growing technology company in Zhubei is seeking a Reliability Engineer to strengthen its product qualification and reliability testing capabilities. This position provides a unique opportunity to work on advanced semiconductor reliability programs, ensuring product quality and long-term performance across diverse applications. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners—including foundries, assembly houses, and testing vendors—to oversee reliability evaluations and qualification activities. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage product reliability and qualification tests according to company standards and customer requirements.

• Lead and support reliability programs such as HTOL, HAST, ELFR, ESD, and LU, ensuring comprehensive coverage of potential failure mechanisms.

• Partner with foundries, wafer suppliers, and assembly/test service providers to ensure smooth execution of reliability activities.

• Support failure analysis and corrective action processes to address qualification issues and improve overall product robustness.

• Collect, review, and maintain all relevant documentation, including test reports, reliability data, and material information.

• Perform data analysis using statistical tools (e.g., Excel, JMP, Galaxy) to identify trends, validate test results, and generate reliability insights.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing test learnings and recommending reliability enhancement strategies.

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to align on project timelines, technical issues, and customer deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.

• 5+ years of practical experience in reliability assessment, qualification program management, or failure analysis across electronic component or integrated device development.

• Hands-on experience with at least three of the following: HTOL, HAST, ELFR, ESD, LU.

• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing, packaging, and testing processes.

• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with proficiency in statistical analysis tools.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight schedules.
