What you'll do:
As a Physical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in performing netlist-to-GDSII design flow. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include working on hierarchical implementation, low power design flow, timing closure, IR drop analysis, and crosstalk analysis. You will also be responsible for developing CAD utility and design automation. In addition to these technical tasks, you will support projects and provide consultancy. You will work with different process nodes and develop the design flow and methodology. Furthermore, you will handle issues encountered in APR in advance during FE planning to avoid them.
What you bring:
The successful Physical Design Engineer will bring a wealth of experience in performing netlist-to-GDSII design flow. You are familiar with Synopsys (ICC2 or FC & PrimeTime)/Cadence (Innovus & Tempus) tools. Your experience includes hierarchical implementation, low power design flow, timing closure, IR drop analysis, and crosstalk analysis. You are proficient in TCL/Perl/Python scripting and have experience in design automation. Additionally, you have experience in SoC integration including FrontEnd or BackEnd design flow. Your good communication skills will enable you to work effectively within the team and with stakeholders.
