In this role, you will work on cutting-edge CPU projects, verifying design features across various aspects of CPU micro-architecture. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain deep expertise in simulation, formal verification, and power intent verification. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of CPU micro-architecture.
  • Work closely with design and verification teams to create detailed test plans.
  • Implement simulation and formal verification methodologies.
  • Write checkers, assertions, and stimulus to ensure robust design verification.
  • Verify power intent using methodologies like UPF.
  • Collaborate with system architects, software engineers, and SoC teams to validate system use cases.
  • Enable verification on emulators and FPGA platforms by working closely with the emulation team.
  • Debug and triage failures in simulation, emulation, and silicon testing.

What You Bring

  • BS degree in CS/EE, with coursework in computer architecture.
  • Experience in C/C++ programming and scripting languages (Perl/Python).
  • Proficiency in hardware description languages (SystemVerilog/VHDL).
  • Hands-on experience with assembly and C language embedded firmware.
  • Familiarity with software toolchains including assemblers, C compilers, Makefiles, and source code control tools.
  • Strong understanding of microprocessor architecture, power management, and physical design concepts.
  • Experience in silicon bring-up and CPU feature validation.
  • Proven ability to debug functional, power, performance, and physical design issues in silicon.
