What you'll do:
As a Technical Staff Engineer specialising in ESD, you will play a pivotal role in reviewing ESD cells and products using CAD tools like PERC and Redhawk. You will be working closely with Analog and Physical designers, providing them with necessary support. Your responsibilities will also include conducting electrical simulations on specific structures and engaging in scripting or coding for automation. You will analyse ESD TLP reports to define the company's ESD protection strategy and edit ESD review reports. Furthermore, you will interface with architect designers, PE, technology development, and foundries teams while participating in the development of ESD test structures.


* Review ESD cells & products using relevant CAD tools such as PERC and Redhawk.
* Support and interface with Analog and Physical designers.
* Perform electrical simulations on specific structures.
* Engage in scripting/coding for automation.
* Analyse ESD TLP reports to define ESD protection strategy.
* Edit ESD review reports.
* Interface with and support architect designers, PE, technology development and foundries teams.
* Participate in the development of ESD test structures and define silicon characterisation plans.


What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Technical Staff Engineer - ESD position brings along a wealth of experience, having worked in a similar capacity for at least seven years. You possess extensive knowledge in designing ESD protections and understand the requirements for layout concerning ESD and latch-up. Your proficiency in using tools like PERC, StarRC, Calibre PEX, and Cadence Virtuoso sets you apart. Experience in conducting electrical simulations is a must, and Python coding and scripting skills will be an added advantage. Excellent communication skills are crucial for this role, and fluency in English is mandatory.


* Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
* Experience in designing ESD protections.
* Understanding of ESD and latch-up requirement for layout.
* Proficiency in using PERC Tool.
* Experience with extractors such as StarRC and Calibre PEX.
* Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso.
* Experience in conducting electrical simulations.
* Python coding and scripting skills are advantageous.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Fluency in English is mandatory.
