What you'll do:

As an analog Circuit Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of electronic systems by designing sophisticated analog front-end circuits and integrating mixed-signal solutions. Your day-to-day activities will involve developing innovative ADC architectures, implementing switched-capacitor designs, and employing low EMI techniques to ensure superior performance. You will collaborate with layout engineers on floorplan planning and verification tasks while participating in team meetings that foster knowledge sharing. Success in this role requires a commitment to communal achievement, attention to detail in every aspect of the design process, and a willingness to support others through mentoring and documentation. By engaging with ongoing training opportunities, you will continually refine your skills as you contribute meaningfully to complex engineering projects.

  • Design advanced analog front-end circuits for high-performance electronic systems, applying your expertise in signal processing and low-noise techniques.
  • Develop various ADC architectures including pipelined, SAR, and delta-sigma ADCs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across multiple applications.
  • Create switched-capacitor circuits with a focus on precision, efficiency, and robust operation under diverse conditions.
  • Implement low EMI techniques throughout the design process to minimise interference and enhance overall system integrity.
  • Integrate mixed-signal systems by modelling interactions between analog and digital components for seamless functionality.
  • Plan layout floorplans meticulously, collaborating closely with layout engineers to ensure successful verification and compliance with design specifications.
  • Participate in cross-functional project meetings, sharing insights and feedback to promote communal success and continuous improvement.
  • Support junior engineers by providing considerate guidance and sharing your experience in analog circuit design methodologies.
  • Contribute to documentation efforts by preparing detailed reports on design processes, test results, and system integration strategies.
  • Engage in regular training sessions to keep abreast of emerging technologies in analog circuit design.

What you bring:

Your proven track record as an analog Circuit Design Engineer will be evident through your extensive experience in developing complex analog front-end solutions for modern electronic systems. You bring deep technical knowledge of ADC architectures—pipelined, SAR, delta-sigma—and switched-capacitor circuits, complemented by practical expertise in minimising EMI effects. Your ability to integrate mixed-signal systems sets you apart as someone who understands both the theoretical foundations and practical challenges of contemporary circuit design. Beyond technical skills, your interpersonal strengths shine through your collaborative approach: you thrive when working together with others towards shared goals, offering support where needed and contributing positively to team dynamics. Your commitment to ongoing learning ensures that you remain adaptable as new technologies emerge. With meticulous attention to detail in planning layouts and documenting processes, you consistently deliver reliable results while helping nurture the next generation of engineers.

  • Demonstrated experience of at least five years in analog front-end circuit design within a professional engineering environment.
  • Proven proficiency in designing ADCs such as pipelined, SAR, and delta-sigma architectures for high-precision applications.
  • Expertise in switched-capacitor circuit development with a strong understanding of noise reduction techniques.
  • Solid grasp of low EMI methods applied throughout the design cycle for enhanced system reliability.
  • Hands-on experience with mixed-signal system integration and modelling using industry-standard tools.
  • Ability to plan layout floorplans collaboratively with layout engineers, ensuring thorough verification procedures are followed.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that enable effective communication within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to supporting colleagues through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and cooperative problem-solving approaches.
  • Strong organisational abilities for managing documentation related to design processes and testing outcomes.
