Core Software Manager

We seek a technically experienced Software Engineering Manager to build and lead an innovative team of software engineers to develop cutting-edge industrial software solutions. This role requires a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and a proven ability to innovate across critical fields, including data analysis, visualization, generative AI, and direct hardware interfaces.

Software Development & Strategy

• Team Leadership: Build and manage an innovative team of software engineers, refining and monitoring progress through the software development process.

• Strategic Design: Develop strategies for AI enablement, infrastructure, and system-level design.

• Implementation & Optimization: Implement and optimize system and platform software according to defined architecture and requirements on Linux-based systems.

• Platform Integration: Integrate modules into the core platform and support comprehensive system validation.

• UI Modernization: Support modern UI development using tools such as Node.js, Vue.js, TypeScript, and Qt 5.

Hardware & Systems Engineering

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware (HW) engineers to define and implement software programs, primarily written in C++, to test the hardware.

• Hardware Interfacing: Leverage technical expertise in direct hardware interfaces to power industrial applications.

Debugging, Testing & Maintenance

• Triage & Resolution: Prioritize and triage product and system issues to ensure high performance.

• Defect Management: Diagnose and resolve software defects using code-level debugging, profiling, and analysis tools.

• Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and system-level tests.

• Best Practices: Participate in code reviews and ensure the team adheres to engineering best practices.

• Documentation: Document implementation details and interfaces to support maintainability and long-term reliability.
