Our client, a global leader in technology innovation, is looking for a passionate and skilled Memory Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join their Taipei team. What You’ll Do:
As a Memory Field Application Engineer (FAE), you’ll be responsible for identifying and developing design-in opportunities for SSD solutions with key customers. Your work will include managing the design-in progress, handling customer requests during qualification stages, and taking charge of first-level troubleshooting for technical issues. You’ll frequently engage with customers to provide technical support and maintain strong, trust-based relationships. Additionally, you’ll communicate strategic insights and updates back to headquarters to keep alignment on customer needs and solutions.
- Identify SSD solution design-in opportunities and provide optimal solutions to customers
- Act as an escalation path for any issues that may hinder key design-wins
- Manage design-in progress and support customers during the qualification process
- Lead first-level FA/debugging for technical matters and track issues through JIRA until closure
- Provide strategic input and updates to headquarters
- Regularly meet with customers to offer technical support and maintain relationships
What You Bring:
The ideal candidate has a strong background in NAND Flash, Storage SSD, and PC/Server engineering. You have hands-on experience as a direct communication point with customers, and your technical expertise includes hardware system architecture, testing, and troubleshooting. A solid understanding of storage interfaces (NAND flash, SATA/SAS, PCIe, and NVMe standards) is essential. Your people skills and ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams make you an outstanding fit for this role.
- Experience with NAND Flash, Storage SSD, PC/Server engineering
- Proven track record as a direct interface with customers
- Hardware experience, including system architecture, testing, and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of storage interfaces such as NAND flash, SATA/SAS, PCIe, and NVMe
- Excellent people skills for customer interactions and relationship-building
- Effective communicator with internal cross-functional teams
