What you'll do:
As a FPGA Application Engineer, you will play a key role in representing the FPGA product line in the APAC region, providing expert training, technical support, and solutions to customers, FAEs, sales teams, and distributors. You will work on innovative projects that require hardware and software expertise, including creating new IP modules for the FPGA library. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with global teams, share knowledge, and improve FPGA products for optimal customer satisfaction.
- Represent the FPGA product line, with a strong focus on the APAC region.
- Lead teams to deliver comprehensive training and technical support on FPGA products, hardware, software, and documentation.
- Present technical training sessions to customers and internal teams.
- Advise customers on design optimization for peak performance with FPGA products.
- Review and provide feedback on hardware, software, and documentation to internal teams.
- Create new technical documentation such as application notes and training materials.
- Design new IP modules to expand the FPGA library.
- Mentor global Application Engineering teams in FPGA design and applications.
- Contribute innovative solutions to enhance FPGA products and processes.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate has significant experience in FPGA design and technical support, with a strong ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. You are motivated by challenges and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of FPGA design experience using Verilog.
- Proven ability to provide technical support and guidance to customers and teams.
- Experience in creating new documentation, such as application notes or training slides.
- Expertise in developing IP modules for FPGA libraries.
- Education:
- BSEE or equivalent (MSEE preferred).
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in technical English and Mandarin.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
