Staff Application Engineer (Server, DCDC)

A leading company in the power management industry is seeking a Staff Application Engineer who is passionate about working on multiphase core power solution architecture for processor/SOC applications. This role involves supporting the development of innovative digital multiphase DC-DC power converter products. Responsibilities:

• System-Level Verification: Lead verification efforts for advanced SoC designs, developing test plans, platforms, and regression suites.
• Customer & FAE Support: Interface with customers and Field Application Engineers to provide design support and address technical challenges.
• Validation & Documentation: Participate in product validation, develop evaluation boards, and create detailed documentation including datasheets, application notes, and user manuals.
• Innovation & Problem Solving: Develop unique IP solutions to meet critical customer needs and ensure optimal product performance.
• Collaborative Development: Work closely with key suppliers to understand and meet technical requirements for large-scale ASICs (Intel/AMD/Nvidia/Broadcom etc.) and power management products.

Qualifications:

• Education: BS+10 or MS+7 in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience: Strong background in multiphase DC-DC converters, digitally enabled power management products, and large-scale ASICs.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in control loop theory, lab equipment (network analyzers, oscilloscopes), automation of lab testing, and programming languages like Python or C. Experience with data analysis using Excel or JMP is highly valued.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with processor/SOC applications and multiphase power solutions.
