Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to key customers and the FAE team, both remotely and at customer sites worldwide, with the aim of acquiring and retaining accounts.
  • Technical support involves aiding the design-in process by resolving acoustic and electrical issues, addressing product queries, reviewing hardware, and hands-on hardware debugging.
  • Assist customers in designing speaker protection systems.
  • Execute tasks such as creating and delivering customer demonstrations, fine-tuning Cirrus Logic audio algorithms, conducting audio performance measurements, and demonstrating software tools.
  • Support customers in the design of audio amplifiers, encompassing tasks like amplifier performance measurements and device initialization and configuration.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality technical training to the Cirrus FAE team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with a Master's or PhD preferred and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the PC Audio or Mobile Phone Audio industry.
  • Proficient experience in analyzing and evaluating audio products using hardware tools such as SoundCheck, ACQUA, Audio Precision analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Understanding of audio signal processing algorithms and techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of DC/DC power, op-amps, and analog circuits.
  • Familiarity with schematics, layouts, and digital components.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 6-8 weeks per year within Asia to support customers and collaborate with factory engineers for training.
