Partnership Development Manager, OTA
A leading travel platform seeks a Partnership Development Manager in Taipei to drive hotel partner relationships, commercial strategy, and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities:
As a Partnership Development Manager, you will spearhead hotel partner strategy, secure commercial deals, optimise operations, and lead cross-functional teams to enhance supplier performance and customer experience.
- Commercial & Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute 3rd-party hotel supply strategy, lead negotiations to secure competitive rates, and identify sourcing gaps to drive growth
- Partner Relationship Management: Manage daily partner relationships, conduct business reviews, co-create growth roadmaps, and resolve service issues proactively
- Improve Supplier Service: Enhance booking confirmation speed, reduce cancellations, improve hotel mapping/content accuracy, and streamline operational workflows to minimise customer issues
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Direct Supply, Revenue, Product & Tech, and CS teams to unify supply operations, monitor partner ROI, and improve booking tools and integrations
- Data-Driven Performance Management: Track partner KPIs across rates, availability, SLA compliance, and customer metrics; develop dashboards and implement continuous improvement plans
- People Leadership: Manage team lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisals, work allocation, and mentoring to develop high-potential talent
Candidate profile:
To excel in this role, you bring online travel agency (OTA) or hotel supply experience, strong commercial negotiation and analytical skills, operational expertise, cross-team collaboration, and proven people leadership.
- 5+ years’ experience in OTA, bedbank/wholesaler, hotel supply, commercial account management, or travel tech operations
- Proven commercial negotiation skills with 3rd-party hotel suppliers and strong understanding of hotel distribution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, turning data into actionable insights to improve operations
- Experience enhancing operational workflows and collaborating cross-functionally across commercial, tech, CS, and ops teams
- Demonstrated people leadership, including recruiting, training, supervising team members, with excellent communication and adaptability
