As an Account Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing the entire lifecycle of ODM accounts in Taiwan.   • Act as the primary regional expert and main contact for ODM accounts in Taiwan, ensuring all customer requirements are understood and addressed effectively.
  • Support the creation and management of product portfolios specifically tailored for ODM customers by collaborating closely with product line managers and relevant departments.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, sales, supply chain, and quality to guarantee timely delivery of products that meet stringent quality standards.
  • Maintain regular communication with global teams to promptly identify new ODM opportunities and ensure alignment on strategic objectives.
  • Gather and analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to inform internal teams for product customisation and development initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress meticulously while preparing comprehensive reports on market dynamics and customer insights for key stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed product documents, presentations, and training materials for both internal colleagues and external partners to facilitate understanding and engagement.
  • Assist in negotiating technical and commercial terms with ODM customers to secure mutually beneficial agreements that foster long-term relationships.
  • Support business development efforts by participating in customer meetings, delivering product demonstrations, attending trade shows, and promoting new offerings.
  • Optimise inventory management by coordinating information flow among forecasting, sales, supply chain management, manufacturing, and other involved parties.

In this Account Manager role, your proven background in engineering or applied science equips you with the technical foundation needed to excel. Your hands-on experience managing products or projects within the technology sector—especially those involving ODM/OEM models—will be invaluable as you navigate intricate supply chains and collaborate across departments. Your fluency in English and Mandarin allows you to communicate seamlessly with local clients as well as international colleagues.   • Familiarity with cable assembly, optical connectivity or networking is highly desirable as it enables you to engage confidently with technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in Product Line Management or related roles will allow you to navigate portfolio strategy discussions effectively.
  • Previous exposure to technical sales or marketing roles adds significant value by equipping you with persuasive communication skills needed for client interactions.
  • A deep understanding of the ODM business model coupled with robust knowledge of supply chain operations is crucial for success in this position.
  • Excellent communication abilities in both English (written/spoken) and Mandarin are necessary; additional Asian language skills would be advantageous.
