Managing Director

The role will be responsible for team leadership, business development, strategic partnerships, sales. The ideal leader needs to have experience in leading teams and building new businesses in a large software company and also start ups in tech. This role will also be a key member of APAC leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders
• Lead a local team of technical engineering, sales and business development teams .
• Lead process for customer & partner engagement , pipeline management, customer project delivery and contract negotiations.
• Supervise customer project delivery with cross-functional teams.
• Cooperate with Headquarter in United States including, Engineering, Technical Sales and Product teams.
• Collaborate with teams worldwide in leading new product innovation projects in renewable energy or smart manufacturing industries etc.
• Own P&L, managing operating expenses and revenue to meet budget goals.
• Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as Managing Director/ General Manager or other managerial position
• 10+ years of work experience in SaaS software or AI related industries.
• Working Experience in both multinational company and start up company. Founder experience would be a good plus
• Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans
• Solid Experience in managing Profit & Loss.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Good understanding of smart manufacturing or renewable energy industries is a plus
• Excellence in oral and communicating skills in English and Mandarin.
